Why should you consider LGEM for your musical needs?

• Great Music! Our groups perform either classical music (with special emphasis on the music of the Western Hemisphere) or a blend of pop, Brazilian, Latin, and light jazz.

• We tailor our music to the event - i.e. Russian music for the Fabergé exhibit at the Center for the Fine Arts, Andean and Peruvian music for the Pre-Colombian exhibit at the Lowe Art Museum, Ragtime music for the Tiffany exhibit at the Lowe, Italian music inspired by the exhibit "A Brush with Nature" for the Live! concert at the Norton Museum of Art.

• We offer groups from solo flute, guitar, or keyboard to a quintet of flute, guitar, keyboard, bass and percussion.

• Our musicians are highly trained - most have degrees in music performance including Bachelors, Masters, and Doctoral degrees - and can perform music in many different styles.

• Our groups are self-contained and have several levels of PA equipment to match the needs and size of the audience. There is no need to inflate the size of a strictly acoustic musical group in a futile attempt to provide audibility for larger audiences. Our groups have performed for audiences of two people at poolside to 600 people at the Loew's Hotel Ballroom to 2000 people at the Baptist Hospital Artist's Showcase.

• Our groups are concert quality and have performed for festivals, recitals, and concerts as well as background music engagements in the South Florida area. We have performed for the Plantation Art in the Park Festival, the Beaux Arts Festival, the Miami Beach Art Deco Festival, the Coral Gables International Festival of Craft Arts, the Fairchild Tropical Garden Ramble and Concert Series, the South Miami Art Expo, the Miami Beach Arts Festival, the Fort Lauderdale Downtown Festival of the Arts, and more.

• Our groups are reliable and have been in business performing in the South Florida area since 1988. We are often rehired by our corporate clients and have had a working relationship with some clients for over a decade.

• Reasonable rates. Our self-contained, highly-trained, reliable groups performing great music are surprisingly affordable.
